Staff
Pastor Chris was raised in Miami, Fl. He came to Christ at the age of 24. In 1999, he graduated from Palm Beach Atlantic University with a B.A. in Religion and a minor in communications. He later graduated from Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary where he received a Master of Divinity with an emphasis in North American Church planting. Chris served as a youth pastor in Fl and NC during his years at university and seminary. After being appointed by the North American Mission Board (SBC) as a church planting missionary in 2003, he and his wife moved to North Las Vegas, NV to begin Living Hope Baptist Church.
Silvia is a Cuban-American born in Miami. She and Pastor Chris were married in 1995. They later attended Palm Beach Atlantic and Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary where Silvia focused on Elementary Education, business, Spanish, and Christian School Administration. In addition to assisting her husband in ministry, Silvia has served as a camp director, teacher, and a coorporate trainer.
